"Now about the middle of the feast Jesus went up into the temple and taught. And the Jews marveled, saying, “How does this Man know letters, having never studied?”
Jesus answered them and said, “My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me. If anyone wills to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God or whether I speak on My own authority. He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who seeks the glory of the One who sent Him is true, and no unrighteousness is in Him."
My wife and I are honored to be counted as servants of our Father who art in heaven. We are called by God to give what God has planted in our hearts, His word, to go into all nations baptizing in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
As husband and wife, one in Christ Jesus, as parents, grandparents and great grandparents, God has enriched our lives beyond our own comprehension. We share the word of God with all that will lend ear to hear.
It is our calling to go beyond the walls of the sanctuary, to search out every place that God leads us, to touch the untouchable to love the unlovable, to reach beyond that which is comfortable or that which is easy.
We serve in our local shelters, ministering to all those that have found themselves passing through a difficult, sometimes hopeless time in this life. God has blessed us to establish a food share program to better assist families in need of a hand. FCUCC serves our community through outreach ministry supplying clothing and items needed for our homeless community, directing all those in need to local government funded programs to assist in meeting the physical need of the person.
We serve in various capacities with our locally elected as well as appointed city and state officials, bridging the gap with our community and those that have been placed in positions of governing.
We invite you to join us each Sabbath day at 10:30am in worship of our Lord and our Savior Jesus Christ.
May God Bless you richly is our prayer,
Pastor Michael & First Lady Brenda Weaver
